Custom Cabinets, Built in Our Own Orlando Shop
Mastery Cabinetry is a cabinet maker in Orlando that designs, builds and installs custom cabinetry for homes and businesses across Central Florida. Every piece is made for one room, to that room’s measurements, whether it is a kitchen, a closet, a wall unit or a reception desk.
Most companies that sell cabinets take your measurements and order the boxes from a factory somewhere else. We are the factory. As a local cabinet manufacturer, we cut, edge band, assemble and finish every project in our own workshop, and our own team installs it. Nothing is drop-shipped and nothing is handed to a subcontractor, which is how we keep control of both the quality and the schedule.
Building locally also makes the project easier to manage. You can visit our showroom and meet the people making your cabinets. A change before production is a quick conversation instead of a new factory order, and if a door needs adjusting after installation, the team that hung it comes back to adjust it.
Built to the room, not to a size chart
Stock cabinets come in fixed widths, so a run rarely finishes flush and the gaps get covered with filler panels. Custom cabinets are built to your walls, including the ones that are not square, so every inch of the room does a job. Our article on custom vs. stock cabinets compares cost, durability and design in more detail.
Kitchens
A kitchen is where custom cabinetry pays off most. We plan islands, pantry walls, appliance panels and drawer storage around how you actually cook, and we can build around integrated appliances so the room reads as one piece. Pull-out shelves, spice racks and utensil dividers keep everyday things within reach. See our custom kitchen cabinets and our kitchen cabinets in Winter Park. Thinking about an island with a cooktop? Our guide to kitchen islands with a cooktop covers the planning.
Closets, wall units and the rest of the house
Beyond the kitchen, we build walk-in and reach-in closets, wall units and built-ins for living rooms and media walls, home offices, laundry rooms and pantries, and bathroom vanities, garage cabinets, home bars and wine rooms. Closets are usually built in European melamine or wood veneer, with hanging space, drawers and shelving planned around what you own. For businesses, we build reception desks, office cabinetry and restaurant and hotel furniture as commercial projects.
Help with the design
You do not need a finished design to get started. Bring a photo of a room you like, a list of what has to fit, or just the problem you want solved, and we will work out the layout, door style, finish and hardware with you. We can also work from a designer’s plan or a builder’s drawings. Nothing is built until you approve the final drawings.
Materials and hardware that last
Choose from laminates, painted maple and MDF finished with Italian paint, and stained veneers or solid woods such as white oak, walnut, cherry and maple. Every part is cut on a CNC router for accuracy, and BLUM hinges and drawer slides come standard. Visit our showroom to see the finishes in person and get straight advice on how each one wears.
About Us
By having a factory in Orlando, we are able to control the entire manufacturing process; therefore, we are able to offer you the highest quality in less time.
How Your Project Works
Every project follows the same five steps, from the first call to the final adjustment, and one team stays with you the whole way. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a factory and an installer.
- Tell us about the room. Call us, fill out the form below or visit our showroom. Rough measurements, a few photos and pictures of designs you like help us understand the project and give you a realistic sense of cost early.
- Design and quote. We plan the layout, storage and details with you, help you choose materials and finishes, and quote against the design rather than a price per linear foot.
- Final measurements and drawings. Once you approve the quote and pay the deposit, we take final measurements on site and prepare technical drawings. Nothing is cut until you approve them.
- Built in our workshop. Your cabinetry is cut, assembled and finished in our Orlando workshop. Most residential projects take about 4 to 8 weeks from approved drawings to installation.
- Installed and adjusted. Our own installers fit your cabinets, adjust every door and drawer on site, show you how everything works and clean up before they leave.
Cost, Timeline and Financing
Every project is priced against its own design. As a guide, a custom kitchen typically costs $20,000 to $35,000 or more, and a custom wall unit $10,000 to $15,000 or more. The main things that move the price are the size of the room, the material and finish, the number of drawers and accessories, and how complex the installation is.
You get the price and the timeline with your quote, before any work starts. Most projects are built and installed within 4 to 8 weeks of approved drawings, and a large kitchen remodel can take 3 to 5 months from start to finish.
Financing is available through Hearth. You can check your personalized rates in about two minutes, and checking does not affect your credit score. You will find the calculator on our kitchen cabinets page.
